Oriental Khotan Pomegranate Hand-knotted Runner Rug – IZZAH – A truly spectacular one-of-a-kind statement KHOTAN piece made from 100% pue soft hand spun wool.

Inspired by traditional 17th-century patterns of what is today Western China, the Khotan Collection features common motifs of pomegranates, cypress tress, and other geometricized botanical patterns. Their detailed yet linear-focused designs give them a modern, elegant appearance, bringing the rich history of these pieces to the modern home.

Craftsmen produce a compact pile by tightly beating down a thicker weft between rows of knots alongside a thinner weft. They weave the pile out of wool and craft the foundation with cotton, wool, or camel wool.

An amazing large hand-knotted Khotan runner rug with a beautiful all-over design using pomegranates. Utilizing assemblage of colours in blends of creams, blues. greys and browns.
