Izyaan – A truly spectular one of a kind statement BIJAR piece made from 100% pue soft hand spun wool.
Areas of Afghanistan produce Bijar carpets, also knows as “The Iron Carpet” These area rugs are much heavier, firmer, and sturdier than other carpets, with double wefts.

Craftsmen produce a compact pile by tightly beating down a thicker weft between rows of knots alogside a thinner weft. They weave the pile out of wool and craft the foundation with cotton, wool, or camel wool.

Izyaan rugs have a variety of unique patterns and hues. These pieces also come in a wide range of sizes-you can find smaller and much larger sizes.

Each of these collector’s rug takes up to 8 months to be weaved. Our persian | Izyaan | comes with a beautiful Denim blue base with accents of brick red, tangerine, mustard, sage green, tomato red, navy blue, rust and touch of olive green with a wide border.
